    About the Role

    Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is an excellent opportunity for a talented Finance Manager to support the growth of an innovative NDIS provider.

    Auscare Support are looking for a strategic thinker, someone who sees the status quo and is happy to question it... someone who see's opportunity at every turn... someone to assist our growth and to navigate the NDIS landscape.

    NDIS knowledge is a requirement for this role.

    This is a FULL TIME role. Remote or offices located in Bowral & Ballina NSW. Flexibility to increase hours when required would be highly regarded.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the financial actions of Auscare Support
    • Effective management of Auscare Support finance team
    • Manage cashflow, financial and accounting system data
    • Financial management reports to the CEO, Leadership team and Board
    • Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team
    • Support all business decision with strategic input, on the numbers that drive success
    • Assist with the transition of Auscare Support to a Not For Profit
    • Research and contribute to all grant opportunities as Auscare Support becomes a Not For Profit.

    Core Duties

    • Manage bookkeeping functions, including bank transaction management, expenses, invoices, debt and reconciliation
    • Manage payroll functions, including leave, entitlements and superannuation
    • Be a trusted advisor to the team on all things payroll and providing internal communication about any payroll-related industry or legislative changes that may affect team members or the business.
    • Knowledge of the Not for Profit space, assistance with choosing a salary packaging provider.

    Skills & Experience

    • Tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or finance
    • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
    • Excellent financial management skills
    • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and supportive
    • Excellent knowledge of the NDIS guidelines and price guide
    • QuickBooks accounting software experience an advantage
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

    You will need

    • 100 points of identification
    • Relevant qualifications
    • Relevant State's Working with Children Check
    • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
    • Full Australian working rights
