Airswift is working with one of our Energy clients that is seeking for the role as below:-

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst (Procurement)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Schedule: Mon – Fri & 8 hours per day

The Role:

• The Sourcing Analyst supports various businesses with a range of low to medium complexity sourcing, contracting and supplier performance management activities.
• This includes source selection, contract negotiation, and contract creation & maintenance.
• The ideal candidate has experience in sourcing of services and commodities, knowledge of contracts and legal terms, sourcing strategy preparation, coupled with a good understanding of commercial orientation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Whilst a Sourcing Analyst is an individual contributor, significant level of autonomy is provided and expected within the role to manage sourcing projects related to demand from Customer and Products business covering marketing and retail assets scopes.

Responsibilities:
This role will manage end-to-end Sourcing projects as per business request, inclusive of the following activities:

• Drive and manage sourcing and contracting projects of low or medium complexity
• Ensure that the business requirements are well-understood and properly covered in the sourcing process
• Identify value levers and opportunities to maximise value for company in the marketplace
• Develop Sourcing strategy in accordance with the respective Category strategy with guidance from senior team members if required
• Define approach to market and develop source selection criteria based on the business priorities and requirement
• Manage and coordinate the supplier selection process to ensure the most ideal option is chosen
• Manage the all relevant stakeholder and supplier interactions and relationship throughout the sourcing project
• Negotiate and agree on relevant contract terms with suppliers
• Develop and modify contract content based on templates and manage the approval process
• Generate reports (status, summary etc.) and analyse data depending on the project requirements
• Take an innovative approach and support/lead continuous process improvement initiatives
• Effectively represent the Team in the respective categories in conversations with other teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Take an innovative approach proposing improvement initiatives that result in long term solution

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must be PR and possess valid permit to work in Australia or Citizen for Australia.
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience is required (preferably in business studies)
• 3-5 years of relevant sourcing experience, gained preferably in a multinational environment
• Proven experience in dealing with external partners, especially with suppliers
• Experience with contract creation, negotiation and maintenance
• Knowledge of navigating the supply market and supplier selection
• Understanding of the end-to-end Procurement process
• Experience in Supplier Selection methods, Supplier Performance Management activities
• Strong motivation to further develop sourcing & category knowledge
• Experience working in an Ariba / Salesforce system environment is an advantage
• Any Retail Asset (equipment purchase and maintenance, construction & maintenance services) category specific experience is an advantage
• Experience managing/supporting petrol station retail network is an advantage
