    Join Our Team: Trade Assistant

    Are you ready to take your skills to the next level in a dynamic and critical industry? We're seeking a dedicated Trade Assistant to join our esteemed team specializing in manufacturing, maintenance, sustainment, and repair for the defence sector.

    Position: Trade Assistant
    Pay Rate: $36
    Location: Henderson
    Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 06:30-16:30

    Responsibilities:
    As a Trade Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our worksites. Your duties will include:

    • Acting as a Fire Sentry, Confined Space Sentry, and Working At Heights Sentry
    • Serving primarily as a Hot Works Sentry
    • Assisting with insulation installation, removal, and repair
    • Developing a thorough understanding of worksite procedures and permits
    • Providing general labor assistance, including fitting, fabrication, and insulation tasks as directed
    • Operating machinery, equipment, and tools under the guidance of qualified tradespeople
    • Ensuring compliance with client and site requirements
    • Prioritizing safety at all times, for yourself and those around you
    • Maintaining clean, safe, and ready-to-use worksites

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in a similar role preferred
    • Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
    • Competent using a computer for online site inductions

    Essential Criteria:

    • White Card
    • Fire Sentry Statement of Attainment
    • Confined Space Statement of Attainment
    • Working at Heights Statement of Attainment
    • Driver's license and experience preferred
