    Description

    The Adelaide Production and Treatment Alliance is a partnership with SA Water, responsible for operating five water treatment plants and five wastewater treatment plants serving the Adelaide Metropolitan region.

    Job Title: Leadership Role

    This leadership position plays a key role in managing a diverse team, driving a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for fostering high performance, mentoring staff, and optimising team productivity and engagement.

    Duties:

    • Lead and inspire a team, ensuring effective performance management and professional growth.
    • Drive operational excellence, optimising plant performance and ensuring compliance with water quality, safety, and environmental standards.
    • Manage maintenance of water treatment plants and associated assets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
    • Foster strong relationships with SA Water and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and collaborative success.
    • Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement within your team.

    We are seeking a professional with the following qualifications and experience:

    • A relevant qualification in an operational discipline (e.g., Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Science) is highly desirable.
    • Proven leadership in a water or industrial operations environment, with a focus on managing and developing teams to achieve maximum performance.
    • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
    • Strong business management skills, including budget oversight, financial forecasting, and cost-effective decision-making.
    • Experience in handling industrial relations matters and ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop teams and drive performance.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

    Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
