    12 Month Contract + 2 X 12 Month ExtensionMinimum Baseline Clearance RequiredCanberra City Office + Hybrid WFH arrangementsOur Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage a dynamic and experienced Dev Sec Ops Technical Lead to join their team.

    This role is pivotal in integrating cybersecurity practices seamlessly into our software development lifecycle.
    The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Dev Ops methodologies coupled with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

    Key Responsibilities:


    Design and implement secure Dev Ops solutions, ensuring that security is integrated into every phase of the software development lifecycle;Design and implement Role Based Access Control (RBAC) across Dev Ops infrastructure to ensure proper authorization and access management;Evaluate current and future enterprise architecture to identify security vulnerabilities and propose solutions;Design and implement secure build and release (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging automation to enhance efficiency and security;Monitor technological advancements and industry best practices to continuously improve our Dev Sec Ops processes;Establish a self-service model and catalogue of available services to empower development teams to implement security measures autonomously;Produce comprehensive solution architecture documents to guide development teams in implementing secure solutions;Develop integration designs for Dev Sec Ops toolsets to enhance automation and security capabilities;Create security models and permissions for developers, facilitating troubleshooting through monitoring and logging practices;Implement security controls and models on cloud platforms to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

    Essential criteriaExperience in building information architecture for Development Operations (Dev Ops) for the secure reuse of ode libraries and patterns on cloud;Experience in Dev Ops toolsets, technologies, and integration;Experience in deployment pipelines and patterns for high availability and services architecture and site reliability engineering;Experience in data management and API services;Experience in automation and change control processes;Demonstrated experience using agile principles in highly dynamic operational environmentsCultural fit for working in a highly dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team of both business and technology resources.
