Role Description
This is a
Full-Time, Equity-Only
Co-Founder role for a hands-on commercial leader. As we are currently at the pre-revenue MVP stage, this position does not offer a starting salary. We are looking for a partner with the
financial runway
to work for a significant founding stake (25–40%) in exchange for building the commercial engine from zero to one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market (GTM):
Design and execute the strategy to reach our next 1,000 users. - Sales & Growth:
Lead direct outreach to Building Managers and Strata committees. - Partnerships:
Identify and secure pilot agreements with property management firms. - Product Evolution:
Collaborate with the technical founder to bridge product-market gaps.
Who You Are (The "Founder-Ready" Filter):
- The Operator:
You have 5+ years in technical sales or business development and prefer "doing" over "managing". - Risk-Tolerant:
You are in a position to contribute your expertise for equity as your primary "sweat equity" investment. - Melbourne-Based (Hybrid):
Able to meet in person in Melbourne for strategy sessions while working flexibly from home.
The Partnership Process:
We believe in de-risking the partnership through a 30-day mutual trial
. This allows us to test our working dynamic and commercial momentum before formalising the founding agreement.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for market research, data analysis, and decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills for interpersonal interactions, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
- Proven Sales and Marketing experience to develop and execute effective strategies
- Ability to conduct thorough Research to identify market trends and business opportunities
- Leadership qualities and experience in guiding a team or managing business operations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think strategically and innovate
- Experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is an advantage
