- Plan, assign, manage and lead the daily activities and work flow of the communications and marketing team.
- Provide proactive, timely, high quality, specialist advice to directors & the CEO.
- Proactively and strategically manage Council's media relations.
- Manage Council's corporate brand, publications (along with the Digital Communications Coordinator), advertising spend across Council and media relationships.
- Develop complex and strategic communications plans and strategies.
- Coach and develop team member's in planning and delivering marketing, communications plans, media programs and issues management plans.
