The Role
Projects Assured is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious leader to join our management team to take the company into the next phase of growth.
The position reports to the Executive General Manager.In this position, you will have business development targets to ensure successful business outcomes for Projects Assured.
To achieve results, you will be able to leverage your existing networks and comprehensive knowledge of Canberra.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop a sales strategy and cultivate and drive business relationships within a defined market (either private or public sector areas).
As part of the Management team, you will have a pivotal role in identifying growth areas, developing the sales strategies, pursuing new opportunities, and undertaking thorough market research and analysis.
With confidence, you will engage with prospective clients, forge strong connections with key stakeholders and decision-makers to position Projects Assured as the preferred consulting provider.
Effective collaboration with our management team will be essential to formulate a strategic approach for engaging prospective clients, securing new business opportunities, and diligently monitoring progress to ensure efficient follow-ups and reporting on outcomes.
This role is suited to an experienced leader with a Canberra client network, that thrives in an entrepreneurial and sales environment, supported by a senior leadership team.
We are looking forStrong commercial acumen.
Demonstrated sales execution and relationship management expertise in the private or federal government sectors
Comprehensive knowledgeof contracting and tender processes, procurement regulations, and the primary organisations and industry sectors frequently involved in government tender processes
Outstanding communication and relationship cultivationcapability, showcasing ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of organisations
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and positive influencingability, enabling the clear conveyance of intricate ideas in simple terms and the tailoring of messages to suit diverse audiences
Aproactive and self-driven mindset , underpinned by a results-oriented approach and the ability to work autonomously to accomplish targets and objectives
Proficiencyin utilising customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools
Skills and Attributes
Undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree qualifications, or equivalent work experience recognised by the firm
Active AGSVA security clearance is desirable but not essential
