- Manage the NSW Safety & Resilience team to deliver against agreed goals and operational outcomes consistent with our client's mission and strategic plan.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of adolescent and family counsellors, sexual assault counsellors, adolescent and family case managers, and a young parents program.
- Provide high-quality leadership and coordination through promotion of open communication, teamwork, and delegation.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, probationary reviews, and performance management of team members.
- Support business development opportunities and partnerships with funders and community organizations in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Provide specialist advice and consultation to case managers and counsellors on client matters.
- Ensure oversight of service delivery targets, compliance with funding agreements, and quality outcomes for clients.
- Manage service delivery contracts and partnership agreements effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, adherence to policies and procedures, and management of operational risk.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage, monitor, and deliver all services within agreed budget.
- Formal qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in trauma-informed clinical assessments with children and young people.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team building.
- Valid National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
- Demonstrated experience in employee management, recruitment, and performance management.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and influence individual and team performance to achieve organizational outcomes.
- Experience in therapeutic intervention with survivors of sexual assault & trauma, adolescents, and families.
- Ability to assess and respond to risk from a client, employee, and organizational perspective.
- Experience in managing service delivery targets in line with funding agreements.
