    Description

    You will manage a service support team and provide accurate advice to management on the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives relating to recruitment and training and development to enhance QPS

    business improvement in the management of Triple Zero and Communications Centre service delivery.

    The core capability requirements for this role are:


    • Provide advice to management regarding service and quality standards, statistical analysis and reporting processes, organisational change management and training and development and recruitment strategies.


    • Build and maintain productive working relationships / networks with internal, interagency, and private sector stakeholders to support the identification of trends, innovation, and service improvement opportunities.


    • Manage the identification, design and implementation of business process change and service improvement initiatives resulting from new business requirements.


    • Provide advice to management on the implications of change initiatives, including risk assessment and impact analysis, regarding resources, policy, and processes of the Group.


    • Manage a project governance framework and support project managers across the Group to deliver the Program of Works, including procurement.


    • Establish and maintain quality assurance and reporting processes.


    • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the development of recruitment initiatives and in coordinating and delivering professional training and continuous improvement programs based on call centre industry best practice standards to

    Communications Operator employees, stakeholders within QPS and external clients as required.


    • Oversee the budget and prepare and negotiate general and specific budgetary and delivery plans for the Communications Group recruitment, training and development programs across the State.
