Job DescriptionAn exciting and fast paced opportunity for an experiencedSenior Business Analystto join our Television Finance team at Nine.Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Reporting & Planning, you will be pivotal in delivering the financial results, forecasts & budget for Television Finance and will collaborate closely with the Television Finance, Group and Planning teams in the achievement of the finance objectives at Nine.
Day to day you will:
Work closely with the different teams within the TV finance function across Local Productions, News & Current Affairs, Sport and Broadcast Operations to deliver financial results and forecasts
Perform the Television Revenue reconciliation and program revenue analytics, understanding the key drivers of revenue
Assist in the annual budget process and consolidation of the Total TV budget deliverables, 5 YP target tracking and CFO reporting requirements
Manage network P&L items including defamation, annual & long service leave, and statutory licenses
Have ownership of the TV associates accounting and forecasting, including analysis of their results and liaising with the external finance teams
Collaborate for the ongoing maintenance of the consolidated TV P&L and Balance Sheets and team deliverables to Group Head Office
Drive enhancements in reporting and analysis processes to optimise efficiency
QualificationsIn a business partnering perspective, you will excel in managing internal and external relationships, supporting business partners with accurate financial insights, and effectively communicating financial analysis to senior stakeholders.
Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying efficiencies within the Broadcast Operations function.What we would like to see on your resume:
Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA)
Proficiency in Excel
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work
Proven ability to work efficiently under deadlines
Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Experience in the Television or content production Industries (not essential)
Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and TM1 applications (not essential)
