    We are recruiting for a Quality & Technical Coordinator within our rice and rice products manufacturing team based in Leeton. You will embrace a hands-on leadership role on the production floor, to drive and maintain the Food Safety & Quality system meeting consumer, customer and legislative requirements. Thus assuring the foods produced are compliant with Food Safety & Quality programs. In the process, drive a culture of continuous improvement through engaging employees via coaching and education with best practices in the FSQ management systems.

    Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary education to graduate degree level in Applied Science, Microbiology or similar field.
  • 2-5 years experience in a technical food safety quality environnmet.
  • A passion for acheiving compliance with food safety, regualtions and codes of practice including GMP, HACCP, and SQF systems.
  • Sound understanding of TQM principles, and microbiology for thermal processes.
  • Analyse, understand, identify trends, report on all qaulity data, and apply quality tools for prioritising and implementing action steps.
  • Responsible for coordinating with production personnel root cause analysis of customer complaints and elimination of such causes.
  • Undertake monthyl KPI reporting, internal audits, NCR Management, document review and IPM Strategies.
  • You will be enthusiastic, self-driven with a positive and dynamic outlook and excellent influencing skills.
  • Driven to manage processes with continuous improvement in mind.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, educate and coach all levels of people on the site.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
