    Job Summary

    The Pricing and Practice Economics team at Allens is seeking a skilled Client Rates Analyst to support the Head of Pricing and the Pricing team. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to implement the firm's pricing strategy, ensuring value delivery to clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Document pricing agreement terms in a structured process for centralized maintenance and access by Billing and Finance teams.
    • Process new client or matter pricing agreements and provide implementation instructions for accurate rate/pricing entry into the billing system.
    • Manage annual rate revisions across all clients to ensure timely increases when applicable.
    • Monitor multi-year agreements for mid-term rate adjustments and proactively initiate analyses for upcoming agreement expirations.
    • Train Practice Executives on pricing and rates.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of law firm billing processes and software applications.
    • Experience with database and financial reporting tools desirable.
    • Proactive troubleshooting, problem resolution, and follow-through skills.
    • Excellent Excel proficiency for data analysis.
    • Financial modelling experience desirable but not essential.
    • Aptitude for detail, precision, and logic.
    • Ability to compile and analyze data, furnish concise information, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
