    Description

    Vestas are seeking an enthusiastic Purchasing Manager to join our team in the Indirect Materials team in Melbourne.

    Procurement Excellence and Indirect Procurement APAC > Business Service, Indirect Procurement APAC > APAC Procurement Indirect, AU

    Responsibilites

  • Manage the Indirect Procurement team APAC covering Business services (IT, facility management, fleet, engineering, professional services)
  • Define and implement the regional indirect procurement strategy in close alignment with global indirect procurement commodity lead
  • Deliver on Safety, Quality, Performance, Cost and Sustainability targets
  • Daily people management of employees in the Regional Indirect commodities and securing right capability in the organisation
  • Responsible for regional risk identification & Mitigation. Regional value and innovation capture. Drive regional cost out
  • Support of regional factories with regards to Indirect costs (e.g. IPC, temporary labour, PPE, Electricity and MRO)
  • Performance management and supplier management at Regional level
  • Qualifications

  • + years working experience in Procurement and Supply management
  • 5+ years working experience in indirect material procurement and leadership role
  • Have experience working with or for internation companies in intercultural environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics/Finance, Business Administration Management or equivalent relevant majors
  • Procurement Knowledge and Skill sets, i.e., Analysis, Benchmarking, Negotiation, etc., and with good Quality Management mindset
  • Competencies
