The Position
As a Plant Operator, you will be a key part of Council's construction crew undertaking road construction and maintenance activities, operating and maintaining a variety of plant in accordance with Road Operations objectives and requirements. You will be required to competently operate and maintain mobile and fixed road plant (including front end loader, backhoe, excavator, tip truck, excavator, grader) to construct and maintain roads and pavements. You will also undertake other truck driving duties including transportation of equipment and materials, loading, unloading, and securing of equipment, and materials and other site duties such as preparation for works and traffic control. .Essential Requirements
