- Oversee the overall performance of workshops across multiple locations, including Port Hedland, Karratha and our remote sites.
- Manage the servicing and maintenance of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Drive cost recovery initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance standards set by Toll Group.
- Ensure that all workshop activities are carried out safely, accurately, and in alignment with customer expectations.
- Develop and lead a team of workshop staff, fostering a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase workshop efficiency, maximize profitability, and enhance throughput.
- Play a key role in the development and execution of workshop-related policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders within Toll Group to optimize workshop operations and customer satisfaction.
- Work effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to collaboratively achieve high levels of vehicle maintenance service compliance.
- Ensure personal and team operational performance meets identified KPIs and balancing of overall capability to meet them.
- Responsible for inventory balance sheet- Stock levels must be accurate and cost recovery must be at zero.
- Day-to-day contact with customers to arrange work throughput in line with expectations.
- Ensure audits of operational performance are effectively resourced and completed across teams and the results are followed up.
- Anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities to significantly enhance the breadth and quality of the service experience.
- Managing customer liaison processes, including identification of business opportunities, and reporting areas of customer dissatisfaction.
- Evaluate required training to ensure staff are trained to appropriate standards.
- Proven experience in workshop management, with a focus on achieving high levels of service compliance.
- 3+ years' experience working in a workshop management/supervision role.
- A safety-first mindset, and a customer focus in leading a team.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders of teams.
- Proven track record in driving business performance through strategic competence and effective people leadership
- Knowledge of diesel, petrol, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic diagnostic repair
- Ability to work with people at various levels from shop floor to senior management.
- Able to make critical decisions under pressure while maintaining the safety and well-being of staff that they are responsible for

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee our workshops in Port Hedland, Karratha and two remote locations, across the northwest region of WA. As the Regional Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall workshop performance including the servicing and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, cost recovery, quality, compliance for Toll Group. This is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to be home every night.
