    Job Description:

    Lake Imaging is seeking experienced Sonographers to join the team at the St John of God Hospital Warrnambool.

    You will be a part of our collaborative, committed Sonography team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our patients.

    • Conduct a variety of scans including 1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy scans, with a focus on follicle studies, and occasional paediatrics scans.
    • Adhere to enjoyable 30-minute appointment times with ample breaks.
    • Manage your own list of appointments.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
    • Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.

    Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool, and the surf coast.

    The Role:

    Requirements:

    • Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
    • Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
    • An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.
    • Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 8am - 5pm.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
    • Experience with Siemens and GE ideal.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
