- Undertake site inspections and audits on environmental performance to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist with the execution of monitoring programs and data management
- Assist with the implementation of environmental policies and programs
- Provide basic environmental monitoring support and assistance to the project team
- Complete and assist with floral and fauna assessments
- Complete and assist with water quality sampling/dust sampling and air quality testing
- Workplace inspections and compliance
- Associated reporting
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering or a related field - Essential
- Minimum 1 years experience in a related field
- Experience in a mine site environment is highly beneficial
- Effective time management skills including ability to work to project deadlines
- Demonstrated effective on-ground problem solving techniques and skills especially as it relates to delivery of environmental outcomes.
- Demonstrated awareness and focus on safety
