    Accounts Payable Officer

    Brisbane CBD | National law firm | Immediate start until 30 June 2024

    Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Legal Accounts Payable Officer to assist a leading national law firm in their Brisbane CBD office on a full-time temporary basis until 30 June 2024.

    The Role

    Working alongside the finance team, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable duties including:

    • Managing the AP inbox and actioning enquiries in a timely manner
    • Entering and updating invoice data
    • Processing vendor invoices and other accounts payable transactions
    • Reviewing internal card transactions and staff expenses
    • Reconciling bank statements and invoices
    • Assisting with general ledger coding
    • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding invoices and payments
    • Providing other general accounts, compliance, filing and administration duties as required

    About You

    To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 12 months within a similar accounts role, ideally within the legal industry. You will also have:

    • Strong IT and data entry skills and good working knowledge of accounts systems
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines
    • Strong organisational skills and flexibility
