A Tree Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tree care specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and aesthetic appeal of Council’s tree assets in streets and reserves.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain trees in accordance with best practice arboriculture standards;


• Operate specialist equipment during high-risk activities such as electrical line clearance, working at heights, felling hazardous trees, and operating trucks and chippers in confined spaces;


• Provide general information to the public on arboricultural practices and horticultural techniques;

The ideal candidate will possess Certificate III or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture or Horticultural related discipline or equivalent proven industry experience. Additionally, they should have a Victorian Driver Licence, experience in maintaining and removing trees in streets and parks, as well as knowledge of chainsaw operation.
