- Assisting with training and mentoring of new team members;

- An unquestionable attitude toward working safely as a priority;
- 1 year minimum Shotfiring experience;
- Current QLD Explosives Security Clearance;
- HR Licence is advantageous but not essential;
- A positive team-orientated work ethic;
- A current Queensland Shotfiring licence.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.

About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a vacancy for a Shotfirer at our Customer site at Ravenswood Gold. The point of hire will be Townsville and all accommodation and meals will be provided on shift and transport to and from site is provided.
This is a chance to secure a stable permanent role with the global market leader in blasting. At Orica, we have incredible training and organisational development infrastructure in which to support Shotfirers who wish to take the next step their careers into Technical and Blast Engineering related roles, or Leadership within our large global business.
