- Efficiently process arrival and departure guest accounts
- Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions
- Ensure all guest requests are actioned in a timely and efficient manner
- Create innovative ways to up-sell additional services to our guests
- Promote the hotel's product and services and loyalty program
- Operate switchboard effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally
- Previous experience in a hotel environment (preferably 5 star)
- A genuinely caring and friendly approach to guest service
- Exceptional standard of personal presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet to efficiently resolve any issues that arise
- Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office; Opera experience advantageous
- Flexibility to work a 7 day rotational roster, including weekends, public holidays and the occasionally overnight shift.
