    As a Guest Services Agent, the successful applicant will be required to:

    • Efficiently process arrival and departure guest accounts
    • Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions
    • Ensure all guest requests are actioned in a timely and efficient manner
    • Create innovative ways to up-sell additional services to our guests
    • Promote the hotel's product and services and loyalty program
    • Operate switchboard effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally
    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Previous experience in a hotel environment (preferably 5 star)
    • A genuinely caring and friendly approach to guest service
    • Exceptional standard of personal presentation
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to think on your feet to efficiently resolve any issues that arise
    • Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office; Opera experience advantageous
    • Flexibility to work a 7 day rotational roster, including weekends, public holidays and the occasionally overnight shift.
