    • Lead and manage multiple projects within the UNITE data transformation program, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

    How will I help?

As a Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our UNITE data transformation program. You'll lead and manage multiple projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to define requirements, develop detailed project plans, and allocate resources effectively. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring quality deliverables, and providing regular updates to senior management.

You'll work closely with the Chief Data Office to coordinate data initiatives, promote data governance, and ensure the successful execution of the UNITE program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects within the data transformation program, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to define project objectives and requirements.
    • Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, and ensure alignment with overall program goals.
    • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, manage project teams, and ensure the availability of necessary skills and tools.
    • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
    • Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
    • Change Management: Support change management activities, including communication and training, to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

    What's in it for me?

You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. Our purpose is to create better futures together. So, we'll back you in the development of your career, internal career prospects, and flexible working. You'll also keep learning to grow your career, backed by a fantastic team of people with a can-do, supportive structure. Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.

    What do I need?

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in project management and a passion for driving data-driven transformation.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably within a data or technology environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project challenges.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • A solid understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
    • Experience with data migration projects and a deep understanding of data governance principles.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, SAS, and Azure.
    • A strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
    • Experience working within a regulated financial institution is highly desirable.
