The Opportunity
The clinic is looking for an experienced GP to provide much-needed support, working alongside the permanent part-time GPs. You'll be working with a mixed demographic mainly around the ages of 25 – 44. The clinic uses best practice software, and 15-minute standard consultation times can be supported. The clinic currently has 1 full time RN and 1 full time EN in place. Shorter blocks of cover can be supported and travel, car and accommodation can be provided. The team offers a wide range of services including the following: Full General Practice with other services that include minor surgical procedures, childhood immunisations, Driving licence medicals, Iron infusions, spirometry, skin checks and ECG's.
A previous locum has commented that the workload is very manageable in this clinic and the that there is an extremely supportive Practice manager & administrative staff.

The clinic is situated approximately 15 minutes from Townsville's CBD and 4.5 Kilometres from JCU Townsville University Hospital. With warm weather the whole year round, you can enjoy the picture-perfect beaches, many surrounding waterfalls and benefit from it's close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef. This is a fantastic holiday destination and offers plenty of weekend adventures to keep you entertained across the month
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this position you must have unrestricted, specialist registration with AHPRA & full Australian working rights.
