    Description

    Little Lane's Montessori Children's House is a new service that will operate within long day care hours to support families and children of Doncaster, Melbourne, and surrounding areas.

    Assistant Director Role

    We invite candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Director. This role will work closely with the Director, Educational Leader, Administrator, and WH&S Officer.

    The successful candidate must hold an ACECQA recognized qualification and Montessori Diploma in either 0-3 or 3-6, with experience within the sector and long day care requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assume responsibility for the services when the Director is away
    • Support the day-to-day running of the service
    • Use CCMS software and/or learn other relevant software programs for the operation of the service

    Requirements:

    • Work effectively as a member of the team
    • Role model appropriate practices
    • Good communication and written skills
    • Experience in supporting a large community of staff and families
    • Able to enrich members of the team by sharing knowledge and passion for the Montessori methodology

    Preferred Qualifications:

    A developed knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF, and a collaborative approach to management.
