    At Scentre Group, we're known to be a leader within retail property. An interesting part of our business is our Embedded Networks and Energy Team, which manage the energy requirements for our living centre portfolio to power HVAC, lighting, vertical transport, and key infrastructure. We also on-sell the supply of energy to our retailers too.

    Your opportunity

    We're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Embedded Networks and Energy team and take responsibility for a range of procurement, contract administration and operational monitoring tasks alongside our team for Embedded Networks and Energy.

    Your key accountabilities will include:

    • Strategic – responsible for procurement and contract administration of allocated energy supply and services, ensuring contracts achieve WH&S, time, cost and quality objectives, and partners are performing to their contract obligations.
    • Commercial - tender preparation, scope and specifications reviews, supplier communication, analysis, business recommendation and contract negotiations.
    • Regulation – Monitor regulatory changes and provide reviews and submission preparation, provide guidance on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
    • Operations - Support general energy group operations including customer enquiries, debt enquires, customer billing enquires and liaison with centre experience teams (in conjunction with service providers), as well as escalated dispute resolution with partners, including management of billing issues.
    • Innovation - seek innovative solutions to improve the service delivery and identify opportunities within procurement and contract administration, and support new programs, process improvements and initiatives that impact the operations and infrastructure of the assets.
    • People - maintain close working relationships with potential and current partners. Engage and develop a professional relationship with all internal stakeholders such as Legal and Finance.

    • We'll need you to showcase transferrable skills gained within contracts administration, ideally within energy or facilities maintenance contracts.
    • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Law, Building Services or Facilities Management
    • 3+ years' experience in Contracts Administration on Energy or Facilities Maintenance contracts
    • Energy contract experience preferred but not essential
    • Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking
    • You will be collaborative, share ideas and identify opportunities for improvement

    This is a really exciting role where you will be focused on delivering; procurement, contract administration, operational monitoring and support of energy regulation, supply and energy service contracts within the Energy and Renewables business unit, to deliver on our business plan including implementation of Scentre Group's Net Zero ambitions.

    We're offering this as a permanent full-time role, based from our Sydney CBD Support Office in Sydney CBD, located conveniently above Westfield Sydney.
