    About the job

    Are you an experienced and dynamic professional looking for a challenging opportunity in the field of water and wastewater project management? We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee the efficient and customer-focused delivery of projects within the Regional Portfolio. Based at Crystal Brooke, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of allocated outputs within the specified budget.

    As a key player in our capital investment program, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating water and wastewater projects, contributing to the sustainable development of essential infrastructure in the region. You will have the opportunity to manager projects which provide exposure to a wide range of water and wastewater infrastructure with a multiple concurrent project delivery.     In addition, your responsibilities will include:

    Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.

    You will:

    • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams of internal and external subject matter experts and Delivery Partners (capable and committed team)
    • Understand and translate strategic objectives and customer levels of service throughout Capital Delivery teams, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Working together)
    • Improved outcomes – delivery performance for continually improved outcomes for the customer (keeping it simple)
    • Lead safety performance within Delivery Group (capable and committed team)
    • Pro-actively monitor progress of the project/program, managing quality and reporting accurately on cost, schedule and risk, leading project teams to success.
    • Review and monitor risk on an on-going basis to inform decisions and actively manage contingency for projects/programs.

    Your success in this role will come from:

    • Demonstrated experience in Project and Program Management (cost, schedule, risk and change management)
    • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/related degree or significant industry experience
    • Demonstrated experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects and/or programs of work
    • Demonstrated experience to liaise and agree project outcomes with multiple stakeholders in often complex situations
    • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams with focus on organisational constructive culture development
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
