    Description

    Admin Assistant/Secretary within the Mining and Energy Union National Office. This role would consist of supporting our Executive team and Senior Staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

    Key responsibilities of the role include:


    1. Providing high-level administrative support to executives and senior staff of the National Office, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
    2. Assist with coordinating and organising meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
    3. Preparing reports and creating presentations.
    4. Assisting with project management tasks and maintaining document and data management systems such as those used by the Districts for memberships.
    5. Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

    Required qualifications and skills for this position include:

    1. Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role.
    2. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively and able to take direction.
    3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
    5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
