The Position
Due to the continued growth of goFARM Australia, an outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and professional Irrigation Manager at their 6,300ha 'Sandmount Farms' that farms a mixture of annual crops.
As Irrigation Manager your primary responsibilities will be:

• Contribute to overall efficient operation of the property by providing effective irrigation.
• Monitoring of crop health to ensure production requirements are achieved.
• Initiate and supervise the servicing, inspection, installation and repair of irrigation systems across the property.
• Monitor irrigation water quality and water supply levels.
• Promote a safe work environment aligned with goFARM's culture and vision.

The Person
To be successful in this role, the following experience, skills and attributes are considered critical:

• Experience managing and overseeing an irrigated cropping program;
• Experience with horticultural cropping would be advantageous, however experience in the cotton, sugar cane or winery industries would be suitable as well;
• Outstanding and highly developed organizational skills;
• An innate vigilance for setting and maintaining high standards; and
• A preparedness to be a collaborative, results-orientated team member
