Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a major cause of death in the United States, and our mission is to combat this issue. We are a dynamic team that creates innovative solutions to solve complicated problems.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that all individuals suffering from cardiac arrest have quick access to life-saving defibrillation.
Avive is taking a fresh approach to addressing this long-standing issue by offering advanced AED technology, along with a unique software platform solution to facilitate a faster and more efficient response to cardiac arrest emergencies.
We believe that this distinctive combination of advanced yet user-friendly hardware, and innovative software, has the potential to transform out-of-hospital cardiac arrest response and significantly improve SCA survival rates.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and steer the strategic direction of our brand.
As a vital member of our leadership team, you will have a key role in elevating our brand, boosting sales, generating qualified leads, and raising awareness of our groundbreaking solutions.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
- Lead and oversee the marketing department, including current marketing managers responsible for product marketing, sales, events, and partnership marketing, in-house designers, and consultants, to ensure a cohesive and effective execution of marketing campaigns.
- Create and execute a holistic content and messaging strategy across all brand channels, including the website, email communications, social media, and more.
- Utilize your public relations and communications skills to maximize mass-market, earned media opportunities.
- Direct and supervise paid advertising campaigns (Google Search, shopping, social), acting as a media buyer and creative strategist to maximize ROI.
- Manage owned social media activities and accounts to enhance industry and product awareness.
- Work with commercial team members to explore and optimize various B2B and DTC customer acquisition pathways.
- Extensive experience using Mailchimp and Klayvio to develop customized customer journeys across platforms (Bonus if you have experience integrating data from Call Rail, social media accounts, and Salesforce as additional inputs to craft a clear UCP).
- Collaborate with creatives, contractors, and agencies to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
- Develop, produce, and share KPIs throughout the department and with senior management.
Who you are:
- An accomplished marketing professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in inbound marketing, e-commerce sales, and demand generation.
- A creative thinker who enjoys testing new ideas and has a strong data-driven approach.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into understandable content for various audiences.
- Proficient at making a brand stand out and be recognized by audiences as a leader in its product category.
- Skilled in creating compelling sales ad copy and mass-market storylines, and adept at analyzing ad performance metrics.
- A talent for guiding customers through the sales funnel and nurturing leads into loyal advocates.
- Adaptable and patient, with a proactive approach to changing company needs.
- Quick executor who prioritizes market testing over perfectionism.
- Versatile marketer with expertise in various mediums, including video campaigns, in-person activations, and more.
- Proficient in identifying, interviewing, and managing top contractors, consultants, and agencies while adhering to budget and performance metrics.
Bonus points for:
- Expert-level proficiency with WordPress sites and Shopify.
- Extensive experience with GA4, AdWords, and other relevant analytical tools like Elevar.
Experience taking ownership of:
(1) Generating demand by attracting qualified visitors to a website, call center, and sales team; AND
(2) Establishing mass-market awareness to boost brand recognition and credibility among key target customers.
- Competence in project management tools such as Asana.
- Comprehensive understanding of the sales funnel stages and buyer journey dynamics.
- Ability to analyze customer behavior, identify trends based on specific events, and test and refine to optimize performance.
