WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Prototype software ideas for evaluation Convert algorithms and technical specifications into software Design, implement, debug existing and new software Support, maintain and document software functionality Perform software testing and quality assurance Review feasibility of requirements Perform estimation of development effort Conduct performance analysis Evaluate and identify new technologies Problem solving and troubleshooting Provide mentoring of graduate software developers Provide technical guidance and leadership to development team/s WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Solid understanding of coding principles Comfortable to work individually and in a team environment Strong attention to detail Analyse project risks in early stages and find solutions Ability to learn new technologies quickly Clear verbal communication skills for sharing ideas and leading discussions Create excitement within your team to inspire ideas and create a collaborative environment Desire to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships Minimum 6 years experience as a software developer Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent5+ years experience Live in South Australia or willing to relocate Be an AUSTRALIAN citizen (non-citizens are unable to be considered due to the nature of our work)Be eligible and willing to obtain an Australian Government security clearance and retain that clearance while employed by Ebor Systems Willingness to travel within Australia and overseas if needed Have an existing Australian Government clearance Experience with C++ (17 or later), RUST, Java, Mongo DB, Python, MATLAB/Octave Software architecture experience An understanding of Agile and/or Scrum Maths programming Familiarity with DSP or radio e.g.
