    About the opportunity:

    If you are an experienced Track Worker aiming to advance your career, take a look here. You'll work alongside respected Supervisors at Aurizon, where hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Responsibilities include:

    • Facilitate, lead, and contribute to safety and environmental performance targets.
    • Promote safe behavior and manage safety at the worksite.
    • Implement strategies to reduce safety incidents.
    • Undertake track maintenance as required.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement and new work practices.
    • Lead the team on-site to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time.
    • Provide reports to supervisors on work progress.
    • Travel as needed to support other teams during system closures.
    • This role requires hands-on experience in the rail industry.

    Desired qualifications:

    • Demonstrated Rail Industry experience and Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure.
    • Ability to work remotely.
    • Preferred: Current Driver's License – MR Class or above.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional leadership abilities.
    • Extensive knowledge of track maintenance and inspection standards.
