- Provide engineered maintenance solutions to fixed plant equipment using relevant skills.
- Conduct routine chute & feeder inspections.
- Enter and work in confined spaces.
- Work at heights.
- Monitor hot work fire watch.
- Assist with general metal work (cutting, grinding, drilling, etc.)
- Support plant housekeeping and clean up.
- Conduct risk assessments for tasks being undertaken (including rescue & lift plans)
- You have experience, preferably mining but heavy industry is what we need.
- Trade qualification would be great but if you've got plenty of experience, we'll still consider you
- WAH, LF and First Aid tickets
- EWP, CN and Dogging/Rigging tickets would be nice to have too

Inspect, Monitor and Maintain
Hanson is lookingto recruit a Boilermaker/Welder/Fitter to inspect, monitor and maintain fixedplant chutes and associated equipment. This role will be based at our ByfordQuarry, WA. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers hours as follows: 0600– 1700 (Monday – Friday) with occasional overtime as required.
