    The Role
    One of the primary functions of this role is to capture, analyse and report information across the investments and the business. You will ensure this by assisting with the management of their key internal models and processes. You will also be involved in projects from time to time, such as the setup of new investment funds or the provision of quality information to aide internal decision making. An ongoing improvement mindset will allow you to contribute to reviewing and improving current processes. This role will provide the successful applicant with exposure to, and ownership of, a broad range of activities, integral to the day-to-day running of a growing fund manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Capturing, analyzing, and reporting information across investments and business.
    • Assisting in managing key internal models and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Participating in projects such as setting up new investment funds and providing quality information for internal decision-making.
    • Contributing to ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Maintaining fund and mandate performance reporting processes.
    • Liaising with custodians to ensure accurate records and providing instructions for transactions.
    • Reviewing and implementing process automation and systemization.
    • Representing the team in key business projects and initiatives.
    • Coordinating with investment managers on valuation processes and asset distributions.
    • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of fund cashflows, payments, and unit pricing.
    • Supporting finance in accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance processes.
    • Responding to investor and asset consultant inquiries and surveys.
    • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes.
    • Providing support on other functions including ESG implementation.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • 2 years plus in investment operations, product management or financial services preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
