    This business is a leader in the architectural and decorative lighting space. With over a decade of experience in the commercial lighting industry, the team have delivered a wide range of projects across Sydney and Canberra.

    Success in this role requires some experience in Sales, a passion for developing new business and ability to maintain strong customer relationships with existing customers. Project management ability is also key - starting projects and seeing them through to completion.

    The Position

    The position has been come available due to accelerated business growth and they are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business as well as maintain key client relationships throughout the Sydney region.

    Paying a $90,000 - $110,000 Base + Super + $25,000 Car allowance - uncapped commissions %

    The role will be fairly autonomous - dealing with a portfolio of key clients on a day-to-day basis as well as developing new business through sales strategy, market development, and client relationships.

    • SELL FULL PORTFOLIO OFLIGHTING PRODUCTS
    • SELLING TO Engineers, ARCHITECTS, Lighting DESIGNERS, AND MORE
    • Develop an in-depth customer understanding to identify areas the Company can bring greatest value to grow our business share.
    • Identify new business opportunities with prospective customers.
    • Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
    • Provide product presentations to customers and offer appropriate lighting solutions to meet their expectations.
    • Convert technical features into customer benefits (understanding the larger system application of our solutions).

    The Candidate

    The ideal candidate will be coming from an existing LIGHTING sales background, selling a product or similar within the industry. Having an interior design or architect background would be great, but not necessary. Due to the nature of the product, my client would also look at peripheral industries such as furniture and flooring. You will be well-presented and hungry to make sales and network with individuals in the field.
