    Senior Consultant, Professional Services

    This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into the dynamic world of tax and financial reporting technology. If you are an accountant, financial reporting analyst or tax consultant (or a manager in any of these areas) looking to leverage your knowledge and experience, this may be for you.

    As a senior consultant in the Professional Services team, you will have a wide range of responsibilities as a subject matter expert in our financial reporting and tax software products, leveraging your accounting, financial reporting and/or tax expertise. You will deliver implementation projects of tax and financial reporting software for a range of clients, including ASX100 and multi-national corporates. You will advise clients as the technical subject matter expert for our software products, train clients, prepare user guides and other documentation, perform product testing and troubleshooting. Along with a team of consultants, you will also be involved in a major project assisting our entire customer base to migrate from legacy software versions to new, updated versions. You will support the client relationship management team as the technical expert in client conversations.

    About the Role

    As a Senior Consultant, Professional Services, you will:

    • Deliver implementation projects for tax and financial reporting software products, including advising clients as the technical subject matter expert, providing training, preparing user guides and other documentation, performing product testing and troubleshooting;
    • Project manage implementation projects, including creating project plans, meeting and reporting management, monitoring and managing risks;
    • Be involved in sales enablement activities, by scoping and selling the value of our tax software products and services to new and existing customers;
    • Manage multiple clients and projects at the same time;
    • Enable client retention and relationship management efforts, by supporting the client relationship managers in their dealings with customers as the technical expert;
    • Prepare user guides, implementation reports, training manuals and other documentation as required;
    • Deliver training sessions and webinars to clients.

    About You

    For this role, ideally we are looking for someone with:

    • 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or Australian tax;
    • Experience with financial reporting and/or tax preparation software, such as ONESOURCE, CCH, Workiva;
    • Ability to juggle a large number of projects, clients and tasks at the same time;
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
    • Strong attention to detail;
    • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, concise manner;
    • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
    • Project management skills.

    We offer a competitive salary around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
