Description
The role:
Our client is seeking to hire a Manager Projects to work at a open pit mining operation in Australia. The mine is in production and has a wide range of capital projects to deliver from concept through to execution over a number of years.
The projects vary in scope and value - but will be across the following areas - fixed plant, mining, civil, de-watering, processing plant upgrades etc. Total value is probably close to $300million.
The position is based on site at the mine and will be responsible for leading a team of project managers who will deliver the work. The role could therefore be called Senior Manager - Projects if that helped you to understand the structure. At anyone point in time there will be multiple projects on the go.
