    Description

    As part of the major infrastructure programme underway at the Devonport site, VGC are recruiting Senior Engineer - Structural for a Tier 1 main contractor who are delivering substantial upgrades to existing infrastructure that will support the future capability of the Royal Navy and the UK's Defence Nuclear Enterprise.

    Due to continued growth the position of Senior Engineer Structural Water Retaining Boundary (Subways)has become available to join oursuccessful teambased in Plymouth.

    Please notepotential candidates for this rolemustbe able to obtain and retainsecurity clearanceto be able to be considered for this position.

    We are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MODs future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.

    Role RequirementsCivil/Structural Engineering with a strong skill set in systems assurance design
    Seismic Design
    Management of sub-contractors/consultants & subject matter experts to assure robust details at stage 3 gateway, design detail and beyond.
    Systems Engineering Systems Assurance experience in the management of traceability documentation (Preferable)
    A minimum of a Batchelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
    Preferred Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council.
