    The Role:

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team at ODASA.

    The Policy and Project Lead is a strategic and collaborative role responsible for identifying, developing and delivering ODASA programs and initiatives through evidence-based research, analysis, policy development, engagement, advocacy and project management.

    This role reports to the Senior Planning and Design Officer and works closely with the ODASA team, senior management, cross-government agencies and external stakeholders.

    This diverse role is responsible for:developing and enhancing government policies and proceduresidentifying and managing strategic programs, varied initiatives and key partnerships that advance ODASA's purpose, for example, developing high-quality built environment education and career opportunities for South Australian studentsadministering relevant legislation, including the Architectural Practice Act 2009 and Adelaide Park Lands Act 2005 This role is a two-year contract offered full-time with flexible work opportunities.

    What we are looking for We are seeking a talented and visionary candidate who demonstrates an innovative approach to tasks and experience across the following key capabilities: General understanding of, and interest in, built environment industries (e.g.
    architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, urban planning, etc.)

    Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with managing projects, programs, initiatives and partnerships Experience with delivering reports, publications and presentations in digital and print formats for varying audiences Experience with the government sector Desirable Qualification:
    Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable, such as a built environment profession (e.g.
    architecture, landscape architecture, urban design or urban planning), project management, and public policy.

    Special Conditions:

    Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment.

    A renewal will be required every 3 years.

    Remuneration:
    ASO7: $106,512 min.

    - $115,137 max.
