    This position is for a minimum of 3 days per week; however, for the right applicant, the position would be flexible.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing procedure support to our Doctors, including the set up and assistance with skin excisions, vasectomies, laser treatments, and other minor procedures.
    • Applying wound dressings and removing sutures.
    • Collecting and handling specimens.
    • Collecting patient clinical measurements including BP, pulse, temperature, height, weight, and performing ECGs.
    • Assisting with appointment scheduling, answering reception phone calls, billing, and managing medical records.
    • Assisting with on-site sterilisation of procedural equipment and following strict infection control protocols.
    • Contributing to stock management and ordering medical consumables.
    • Collaborating with our practice team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

    Requirements:

    • The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Excellent communication skills with patients, their families, and with the other members of the general practice team.
    • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet competing deadlines.
    • Ability to collect and maintain accurate health care information.
    • Ability to work productively within a team environment.
