Description
Use of the computer to perform data entry, compile information, business correspondence, application forms, and other material.
Responsible for preparing and reconciling daily banking and mailing activities.
Responsible for debtor control and to alert Administrative Director to any anomalies.
Organise procedures such as staff records and preparation of payroll.
Post information to records.
Assist Receptionist when necessary to answer incoming calls, receive orders, prepare sales orders and other business related material and process invoices.
Answer questions concerning the organisation or department or refer persons to another source of information bearing in mind the confidentiality of Chesser Chemicals.
Conduct retail door sales, operating EFTPOS facility if necessary.
Assist Administrative Director with mail outs and general administration requests as necessary.
Be involved in the recruitment process by advertising job ads and organizing resumes and applications.
Schedule job interviews and assist in the interview process when required, ensuring background and reference checks are completed.
Perform employee inductions, assist with staff training and development where necessary. Prepare new employee files and collect employment and induction forms from new employees.
Respond to staff queries and provide HR related information, including OHS/Workcover administration.
Assist with performance reviews and management support. In addition be involved in a range of HR related projects which support the development and implementation of new HR initiatives.
As someone who is constantly liaising with customers in the marketplace the Book Keeper/Accounts Manager is in a position to convey to them information that will help maintain and grow our business.
Whist on site at a customer's premises, the Book Keeper/Accounts Manager must abide by all the Workplace Health and Safety requirements of that site and any other requirements by the customer.
Must abide by all company policies, procedures and directives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
