    Title: Hepatologist/Gastroenterologist & Site Lead

    A senior staff specialist position as a consultant hepatologist / gastroenterologist with leadership responsibilities.

    About the Role

    This role will require the successful applicant to provide excellent clinical care, support teaching and research programs, and work collaboratively with colleagues.

    • Provide high-quality patient care
    • Contribute to Hospital and Gastroenterology Department teaching, research and governance programs
    • Work collaboratively with other colleagues and deliver high-quality gastroenterology services
    • Lead and guide junior medical and other clinical staff
    • Participate in quality activity programs and departmental meetings

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Current specialist registration with AHPRA and Medicare
    • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent qualification
    • Certification with Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE)
    • Higher degree or specialist fellowship experience in hepatology
    • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience
    • Commitment to high-quality care, teaching and research
    • Ability to work as part of a diverse team
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
