    RETIREMENT LIVING COORDINATOR

    • Full Time Position Monday – Friday

    The Retirement Living Coordinator will create a happy, welcoming, caring, and safe environment for all residents. This position also oversees the delivery of high-quality independent living services, ensuring a positive living environment, coordinates lifestyle activities and operations at the Pines Retirement Village in Ballarat. Serving as the initial contact for residents, this role prioritizes resident -focused services and fosters a safe, harmonious environment in alignment with mecwacare's values and industry best practices.

    What you bring:

    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Client relationship skills to quickly engage residents to feel orientated and at home and ensure all residents make the most of the retirement living experience.
    • Experience in organizing activities within a retirement living environment
    • Ability to actively engage and be instrumental in providing exceptional resident services
    • Experience in a retirement living/community housing setting and familiarity with resident requirements within a retirement living/community housing context.
    • Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks.
    • Advanced computer skills including MS Outlook (Word, Excel, Email)
    • Ability to operate autonomously and respond in a timely and systematic fashion.
    • Driver's license and Police Check

    • Demonstrated experience in resident engagement and satisfaction
    • Ability to work autonomously
    • Strong administration and organisational skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • High level written and verbal communication skills
    • Sound knowledge and competent in using Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Knowledge of current Health and Safety requirements
    • First Aid
    • Driver's licence
