    Halo is seeking a Risk, Resilience and Finance Manager.

    The Risk, Resilience and Finance Manager works with the organisation to lead, advise and coordinate the implementation of the organisation's Risk Management Framework to enable a consistent and robust governance approach across the organisation.

    The RRFM also provides assurance that risk management processes and internal control environments are effective and operating as designed.

    Key accountabilities:

    Develop and implement the organisation's risk management framework and strategy, communicate expectations and obligations to all staff and monitor and report on performance to improve risk profile.

    Provide technical leadership, processes and tools to successfully implement the risk management framework.

    Support the organisation to detect potential threats to brand reputation, financial sustainability, operational efficiency, workforce investments and safety to fully develop a shared understanding for risk exposure.

    Role Description

    Risk and Resilience

    Act as a risk and compliance advocate, influencing and managing stakeholder relationships whilst providing expert advice and information on emerging governance issues.

    Provide assurance to the organisation on risk related matters.

    Direct and coordinate the delivery of regular risk analysis reports to the leadership team complete with actionable plans for avoidance or prevention of possible threats at all levels.

    Lead the development and implementation of Business Continuity Management capability across the organisation.

    Actively contribute and participate in discussion and provide advice to the leadership team about risk.

    Finance

    Provide oversight and guidance to a small, capable finance team.

    Provide real time budgetary advice to the leadership team.

    Work with the CFO on budgets, Board reporting and finance compliance to ensure we meet our deliverables in these areas.

    Managing a wide range of internal stakeholders with diverse priorities and expectations, to achieve a consistent and cohesive approach to risk management consistent with a recent cyber risk audit and the organisation's Risk Management Framework.

    Promoting risk management awareness and knowledge, with associated performance monitoring in an organisation with a broad understanding of risk.

    Providing guidance on risk management strategies for sensitive matters while facilitating cultural change to move away from a compliance mindset to dynamic risk management.

    Requirements of the role:

    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

    Professional certification such as CA, CIMA, CFA, FRM, or CPA is a plus.

    Proven experience in financial risk management, financial planning and analysis, and resilience planning.

    Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Ability to work closely with the leadership team in a constructive and helpful manner.

    Outstanding can-do attitude and a desire to understand the nature of the organisation.

    • Maintaining and reporting on the organisations risk register.
    • Develop, maintain and test the organisations Business continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management plans.
