The Role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in delivering and maintaining a range of infrastructure and cloud services.

This role is ideal for someone with broad experience across multiple technologies, aspiring to a leadership position and wanting to influence technology at Opal Health Care.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver broad infrastructure and cloud technologies
Be a team leader influencing technology decisions and mentoring the team
Support and enhance central infrastructure, network, cloud, and systems
Document technology platforms and procedures
Maintain and action day-to-day operations of server, network, and cloud technology
Interact with service desks and other teams for troubleshooting and technical support
Recommend and perform routine audits, patching upgrades, and preventive maintenance
Ensure optimal performance, security, and integrity of systems and networks
Identify gaps and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Experience and Qualifications

Requirements include:
Tertiary degree in IT or relevant discipline
IT work experience within the last 3 years as system/network engineer (Level 3 role)
Networking experience and knowledge of Routing protocols, TCP/IP Protocols, and network infrastructure troubleshooting
Experience with Office365 Administration, Intune, Azure AD, Radius, SSO, MFA, Azure platform, Citrix, Firewalls, Certificates, Backup, Replication, and DR technologies
Timely project completion and ability to work out of business hours if needed
Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred certifications:
Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, CCNA/CCNP, VMware, Microsoft 365 Certified, IT Security, ITIL
