Assistant Service Technician
About the Role
AWX are sourcing an Assistant Service Technician for our client located in Heatherbrae
The Assistant Service Technician is responsible for assisting with repairs and maintenance on site of windows & doors

They are under the direction of the Service Technician but must be willing to accomplish some tasks unassisted and show the required level of technical ability whilst achieving optimum productivity.

The Service Department is in direct contact with our customers and therefore each Assistant Technician must present as a competent and personable representative for the Company
This is a Monday to Friday role
Rate $36 ordinary + penalties

Requirements
This position requires the person to have acquired the following skill set;
Use of hand tools (e.g. drills and staple guns)
Use of power tools (e.g. power saws)
Maintenance of tools and equipment
Ability to follow specific instructions
Ability to identify faults in workmanship and poor quality products
Ability to meet scheduled time frames for job completion
Ensure all tasks are performed within specified safety guidelines
