    Responsibilities

    Core Responsibilities

    The Technical Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership for sustainment of the customers integration backbone environments including development and deployment of improvements to the capability. The Technical Lead provides subject matter expertise in the investigation and resolution of issues as well as in cultivating growth in the talent of the team. The Technical Lead will work closely with the DXC projects team as well as non-DXC project teams in ensuring new deployments are successful.

    Your specific duties will include:

    • Train and develop team members
    • Create/maintain/review ICT documentation technical and operational
    • Plan, design and develop solution enhancements to existing capability
    • Review and quality assurance for solutions received from projects
    • Provide operational support for IBM Middleware suites including MQ, Message Broker, ISIM/ISAM running Linux and Windows operating systems
    • Deploying MQ, Message Broker/IIB/ACE, WAS and DataPower artefacts in a complex and secured environment
    • Provide automating and scripting application installation and customisation
    • Provide support for PKI Certificate management
    • Support onboarding of new Webservices consumers
    • Provide 24/7 on call support on a roster basis

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Manage ITIL service management responsibilities including incident management and change management
    • Contribute to teams management of ITIL service management responsibilities, ensuring a SIAM-compliant work environment for incident and change management
    • Adhere to Defence and system security policies and constraints
    • Contribute to weekly reporting

    Education

    Desirable

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field well regarded

    Other Qualities/Qualifications

    • Architectural framework qualifications well regarded
    • IBM Middleware product training and certification well regarded
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
