    Role: Research Data System Administrator
    Daily Rate:$1000 - $1350 inclusive of Super
    Contract Length: Initial 2-months with chance of extension
    Location: Remote - Occasional office attendance in SA, ACT. or VIC

    Currently, we are in search of a skilled Systems Administrator for an exciting opportunity. As a Systems Administrator, you will collaborate with the Research Data Technology team. The primary focus of this role is to upgrade existing Research Data Management platforms while ensuring their continuous security.

    Responsibilities:

    • Upgrade Linux Operating Systems across various application platforms
    • Re-deploy containerized applications and provide troubleshooting support
    • Implement security enhancements for applications, operating systems, and networking
    • Conduct reviews on privileged access across systems and code repositories
    • Participate in Cybersecurity assessments
    • Adhere to Change Management and Cybersecurity protocols

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience deploying Linux servers within Virtual Environments
    • Strong proficiency in Linux administration
    • Familiarity with Linux server hardening and firewall configuration
    • Hands-on experience with containerized application environments like Docker
