    THE ROLE

    The Scheduler has a vital role in scheduling the supervision and transportation of children to and from their family contact. All work is undertaken within the framework of Child Protection legislation, practice guidelines and best interest principles.

    This role may at times be required to operate outside normal office hours with relevant overtime or time in lieu provisions applying.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

    1. Referrals: Accept screened Child Protection referrals from the Family Contact and Support Unit (FC&S) Team Manager for cases where a FC&S Case Support Worker is required to facilitate a transport and/or contact between children and their families. Allocate referrals to case support workers, whilst ensuring resources are also booked, such as access rooms, cars etc.
