Joining a busy and modern private practice in the inner north and western areas of Melbourne.

Therole will involve delivering specialised assessment, screening, and management for individuals with gut, bowel, and liver disorders.

This is asmall but extremely busy gastro/hepatology practice in Essendon. One Gastro/hep and 2 nurses (iron infusions and liver scans- we have a private fibroscan machine here). They are looking for a gastro that is keen to work and learn, gastro/hep preferably and able to do endoscopy and capsule endoscopy as well. Experience is not really an issue as the HOD is more than happy to assist in any further training and mentoring.

They would more than likely look at consulting 1-3 days per week and possibility of 1 list a fortnight to begin. Preferably 40% then negotiate to 30-35%depending on workload and experience (this covers practice costs . This would mean a contractor position where they hold their own indemnity insurance etc and manage their own CPD.
